If you you were to trash the Contis and refit your Max with new shoes - all season - what would you pick??

 

Personally I'd go with Michelin Pilot Sports A/S or Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I had both on my 7th gen but really liked the DWS...Great tire in any road condition.

 

Have these on my GLI, will never buy a different tire for a street car ever again - except maybe the non-A/S version, but I have no need to as the grip with the A/S are phenomenal and the treadwear and warranty on them are better.
