Mine shows show 13-14 map version.. That doesn't seem right...

Mines the same and you're right that it's odd to have a 13-14 map in a 16...

 

But, the '16 Maxima came out in early '15 and it's still 2015, so the maps are really only one year old. But that's still somewhat upsetting.

 

Most likely, the 15-16 maps were released in early summer (I know one year they arrived in June). But the navi systems going into the 2016 Maximas being built in the April through August period (and sold in the June-September period) were probably built by a subcontractor between January and May, before the 2015-2016 navi maps were released. Many parts for a vehicle are manufactured by subcontractors well in advance of being installed in a car on the assembly line.

Just my guess, based on what I have seen in the past.

 

Has anyone actually found the 15-16 maps on an sd card? I have found several on ebay named 2016 nissan navigation maps but when i ask for the detailed numbers on the card, they match the ones i have for 13-14 years.
