gas pouring out of evap when i fill up o.O

Ok guys im back its been a long time but im back . so I was filling up the other day when a women at the next pump starts yelling at me . I looked at her kind of crazy until she told me gas was leaking out of my car . I look under neath and taaadddaaaaa I see gas coming out of what I believe is the evap filter ?? ill post pics tonite when I get home .im at work now . has anybody else had this issue ? just looking for some insight thanks guys

Or maybe one of the several rubber hoses that go to the gas tank.

Hopefully photos will help.

your photo is the air filter for the charcoal EVAP canister. If you had raw gasoline coming out of that, you do have a serious problem. The EVAP canister should not have gasoline in it. AFAIK, the only connection between the gas tank and the EVAP canister would be the vacuum line with the the Vacuum Cut Valve in it. How that line would be getting gas in it, I don't know.

Your filler neck assembly is rusted through, that's where the gas is coming from. It's pretty common too.

sorry iv been working haven't had time to reply and the site dosnt work on my phone . where would I go to get access to the filler neck? is it a difficult repair ?
