metal-on-metal grinding noise when turning left
Whenever I am driving and I turn left, the car makes this bizarre sound that sounds like metal is grinding on metal. Imagine if somebody took a cowbell and threw it like a football and you heard the cowbell ringing very fast. That's what it sounds like (weird analogy, but best way I can describe it). Could it be a CV joint? Thanks.
Brake rotor shield is bent inwards touching rotor upon hard cornering. Stick hand in wheel gaps or behind and bend shield back and away from the rotor a little using your palms is best. Good luck.
This may sound stupid, but do i need to take the wheel off to get to it, or the brakes? Also, how will I know what the brake rotor shield looks like?
Could be a shield, a CV joint, or a wheel bearing. Has anyone been under the car recenly, or have you hit debris in the road? Does the noise come from the right side when turning left?
