Yep. FYI, the factory shocks/struts do not keep up with the Eibachs. They do not control rebound well at all.

I think the only way is to put coil overs all the way around. Don't think there are many aftermarket strut assemblies for our cars. You should be just fine with the Springs and Rear sway bar with you factory suspension setup. Have fun with you new parts and don't worry about it.

How do they perform for street driving, and for someone who is not expecting cone carving handling? I'm not planning on Auto X'ing or taking my Maxima through the Tail of the Dragon and expecting sports car handing, despite of the 4DSC naming (I have another car for my sports car handling fix).

Anyways, I was planning on going with this same setup to give an improvement to the lack luster stock handling.

The rear sway bar itself is a huge improvement over stock. As far as the springs I can not comment because I have not done that. It will be just fine for a daily driver in my opinion.

Nice, I have the bar but have not had a chance to install it yet. I think the stock Eagle RSA tires really hinder the handling of this car also, it should handle much better once I ditch them for some Michelin Pilot tires.

The Eagle RSA tires suck!!! You will be able to tell a huge difference the way it handles after the rear sway bar install!!!

No. At this point I may change the car before I change the struts. I have never "connected" with the 7th gen Maxima and in 65,000 miles have never warmed up to the CVT.

I am not aware of a quality aftermarket factory replacement for the struts yet. I'm sure there is something out there that will work but I have not put any time into looking for it. Eibachs need a better strut/shock for sure!

I had 50k on mine when I went to eibachs, and by 90k the factory shocks were blown.
Then I went to coils.

With the eibachs alone, I wasn't that impressed with the handling. It was better than stock, but still pretty poor. Then I added the RL rear sway bar and it made all the difference. The combination of the two made the car completely different.

As for a controlled suspension the factory setup is better than Eibachs with factory strut/shocks. I added Eibachs with roughly 40k on my factory struts and immediately was disappointed. Just an FYI, I had lowered my '01 and '05 Maxima as well. The '01 I used a KYB strut which was fantastic and that car did well. The '05 I used the factory struts and they were much better than my 7th gen struts. I put 85k on my 6th gen struts with no issues, from the sound of it the 7th gen struts go quickly.

Ya I regret not getting the RL rear bar. The Stillen bar is not stiff enough to eliminate enough understeer. With rear arms and a slot you can get rid of rear camber and add a bit up front with bolts and get for a neutral handling car.
