Rear sway bar torque specs

I have a stillen rear sway bar that I am wanting to install, but I cannot locate the torque specs for install. I looked at the FSM, and there is no mention. Does anyone know the torque specs for everything to install?

I just hand tightened mine with a ratchet and socket. Just do not over tighten and snap the bolts and you should be fine. You will love the way it handles after you get the RSB installed! Grease the hell out of the bar where it sits in the rubber bushings.

Thanks for the tip on greasing the bushings. I'm assuming if I don't grease them that they will squeak, correct? If there's one complain I have about my Maxima, it's the handling it's very lackluster and isn't really up to par of the so called 4 door sports car naming convention of the vehicle. I'm hoping that the RSB and my stillen intake will make it a little sportier.

I just want to make sure that the bar does no wiggle loose over time, and I'm going on a long road trip soon so I want to make sure everything is torqued well and not coming loose. Thanks.

Just made mine tight with the 3/8" ratchet. No problems in 3 years.

The intake will make noise, but will not make it sportier.

It won't if you tighten it pretty good but not too much where you break the bolt or strip the threads. It will make a huge difference on the way it handles and feels on the *** end of the car. If you are putting the car on jack stands to do the rear sway bar take off one wheel to be able to pull the old sway bar all of the way out. It makes it easier. And the grease will keep it from squeaking over time. Enjoy your new upgrade you will be happy with it.

Cool, I'll just tighten as much as I can by hand.

I wasn't expecting much of a power increase, but the intake seems to give the Maxima's VQ a nice growl afterwards. That an exhaust later down the road will probably be the extent of mods I do when it comes to power. Up next is a nice set of wheels and tires to ditch the poor performing Eagle RSA tires.

Backets is 50 pound/feet.
Endlink is 45 pound/feet.

If you made the same mistake I did and also take off the bracket for the endlnks, those are 66 pound/feet.

Forgot to mention: Wheels are torqued to 85 pound/feet.
Good luck! I had fun installing the rear sway bar. Though, mine is from Racingline.
First time ever I jacked up the rear end of any car and worked under there. Scary at first because I've never been so far under the car, but once you learn to trust your jack stands and practice safe procedures, it's easy.
