License plate bulbs

<br/>I bought a kit off amazon , changed all my interior lighting and I didn't know how to do the license plate myself so I took it to the dealership and they told me they're the wrong lights for the license plate , is this correct ?

The license plate bulb number is 168. What did the LED package say?

All of the other ones were correct , but it's only labelled license plate bulbs lmao ..
