My oil leaks- 99 maxima 162000 miles

the rear main has leaked slightly for years.
Mechanic told me the front seal is also leaking now.
The rear seal I think requires transmission removal to fix it.
the front seal (if its not the water pump leaking) - is it easier to fix? can a mechanic just take off the pan and change it , or is it real complicated like the rear main.

The front main seal replacement isn't a bad job. You just need to remove the crankshaft pulley to replace it.

There are front and rear "half moon" seals on the upper oil pan that can be replaced without pulling the transmission.
