Hi Max family,
Well I just had the seats recovered for my wife's max and now my airbag lights flashing as soon as you start the car and until you shut the car is just blinks and blinks steady,I tried to reset the airbag light with the procedure with the holding the interior light switch and yada yada!

Does the seat have the side airbag? They may have forgotten to reconnect the airbag or cut the wires to it.

 

Everything underneath the seats it's been plugged in and rechecked few times-no freestanding plugs.I was thinking maybe needs to be reset?

 

Do you have the side air bags? For right now I will assume that you do have side air bags.

Did the air bag get re-installed? You should see a yellow plastic wire harness connector under the seat.

As for resetting the airbag controller, the pressing of the door button thing does that. You could try disconnecting the battery cable for 10 - 15 minutes and then try the door switch thing again.

Maybe you should try the self diagnostics that is in the service manual. It starts on page 51 in the link below:

Ok I will try to do that and thanks DennisMik,and on a side note when I have the seats out I did start the car and airbag light is been blinking since-never did blinked before I pull the seats out.
