Well I want to get my lip ASAP while my dad still remembers that he made the offer

I also need to get it when the red/clears come, so I will have a sweeter car for the guy at Nissan i know when I get the overdue 60k service.

So, the only vendor that comes to mind is avalon racing. I emailed them, and called them, but no response yet.

Does anyone know if they or anyone will over night a front lip to me, or at least a 2 day air ?

No, I never said that ? I would pay the cost to overnight it, but alot of businesses don't even offer it cause its easier for THEM.

I'm just wonderin if someone knows of somewhere I can purchase a lip where they give the option of fast shipping.

Patience, son, patience. Overnighting a lip will cost you about $75 or more. The lip comes in a rather big box.

The thing is my dad felt bad for me cause I spent all that $ and we (me and HIM) screwed up the install, mainly his fault, so he felt bad and offered to give me his credit card to order a new one. Well this IS a first so I am rather happy bout it!

Maybe they'll give him a military discount or somethin

Yes, I stopped and got the lip.

3 holes, tons of scratches, and broken in half. It ripped right through my fender too.

It may be strong but nothing can withstand being dragged along the interstate at 70mph.

Mine flew off my car at 80 and was run over by a tahoe and mac truck and i went back to get it.. perfect condition besides the paint.. had it repainted and put it back on.. then it got ripped off again when the emmisions tester drove it up a ramp that was too steep.. sucks.

Lips

I get them in almost every day. They usually go the next day. As for shipping, the person who posted the approx cost was correct. Expedited air on an oversize box will cost about 1/2 of the cost of the lip.

Let me know if you still need one. I never did see an e-mail by the way.

Regards

Re: Lips

Save your dad a few bucks and order it shipped ground... Just be lucky your dad is cool. My dad wouldn't be helping me put it on. He'd be laughing at me for wasting my money.

You are right

My dad laugh at me though at first. He thought it was funny until he saw that I wasn't laughin' too. Well he chuckled it off and then about a half hour later he calls me in and tells me the news.

Lucky I am!

AvalonRacing, I sent you an email.

Hate to say it but when I was reading the story, I kind of laughed too! That's a pretty hilarious story when you think about it. I have read your previous posts re: lip, re: painting the lip, re: installing the lip, re: lip on and nice pics, so to hear that it just fell off in the matter of a day or two is just unbelievable. I bet 10 years from now, when people are telling old car stories that this one will surely come up and you will have a nice chuckle... classic stuff.
