Does anyone know where new radio controls for the 2001 maxima can be found or if there is any way to fix one? I recently bought a 2001 having upgraded from my 2000 Maxima and while the switch looks to be in perfect condition, only works intermittently at best. I went to the dealership only to find that it's a discontinued part. Also could a switch out of a 2002-2003 work? They seem to have the same pin configuration, but the dealership insisted the 2001 was the only one that had this particular switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Your best bet would probably be a u-pull it type salvage yard. I've seen a few of them in my local yard recently.
