motor and tranni out of 01 into my 96, easy swap?

I have a donor car, so everything I need should be there, the problem is my 96 has a burnt valve, I found a wrecked 01 I would like to get the transmission and the engine out of to put in my 96.

What all would I need to change over? I am hoping the block is the same, I know the intakes are different and have read a little about the cam being more aggressive but that is all I can find.

I will be buying the wrecked car so if anyone knows what all I will have to swap in order to get everything to work, please let me know.

What transmission do you have auto or five speed? If its auto the trans will require finess to work. As far as the engine goes its a direct drop in the only real difference is intake and fuel. You can use the intake and injectors its what we like to call a 00vi swap. Ypu will need the fuel injecor pig taisl from the donner engine harness. To answer your question yes u can swap
