Cat Converter Direction?

I got the Walker 16033 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter delivered yesterday and was planning on installing it today but I cannot find any arrows or markings verifying which direction to mount it. Does this indicate it is bidirectional?

I purchased the Walker 16033 CAT for $123 on www.rockaauto.com. After receiving the $50 rebate from Walker the total will be only $73 + S/H for a direct fit SS CAT.

I'm replacing my OEM CAT that lasted 168k miles because I got code P0420 last week along with the rotten eggs scent. What damaged the CAT is the misfiring and lean fuel mixture I got earlier this year from the weak fuel pump I had to replace. It melted away the ceramic in the CAT, peeled the exhaust paint off the B-pipe, and caused a leak in the flex section of the WS y-pipe. I welded on a SS 2.5" braided flex section to fix the leaking y-pipe.

EDIT: I replaced the two upstream and one downstream O2 sensors while I replaced the fuel pump. I'm positive they're not causing the code and scent.

I'm not positive, but I think direction is irrelevant. When I bought a Fastcat from Cattman years ago, I had the same question as you for him. He responded that it didn't matter.

Thanks for the tip WIZ. I overcame the fear and installed it late Sunday with new gaskets. With no markings the direction must be irrelevant.

I drove it 140 miles since with no P0420 returning. It dropped down to 32f this morning so I intentionally didn't warm her up as I normally do. A failed CAT will throw a P0420 if it's not warmed up before driving.
