Does anyone know if the synchros in the 4th or 5th gen is compatible with the 3rd gen tranny? The second speed in my buddies tranny is "gritting" and he is not able to find a replacement.
James kinda made reference in his tranny rebuild to the possibility of the internals of the 4th gen being similar to the 3rd gen but I haven't been able to get a confirmation
