How do you take care of your in the snowy area?

I mean I used to live in NYC I had own a few cars but I kinda never thought about it until now. I’m visiting NYC for Holidays. it’s been snowing last Saturday now it’s around 30 Degrees. I haven’t washed my car after the snow because it’s going to snow again anyways. I’m just concerned about salt... I have a warm parking garage but I think it’s a bad idea to keep it there when it’s covered in salt. So I keep it outside. Do you think A few weeks in NYC can develop rust damage or not? The car is only 3 month old.

Thank you.

Being from Canada I have a little experience with this. If you are worried about salt....wash it off the car. I wash my car whenever I can myself, making sure to "vigorously" rinse the wheel wells and the under carriage. I will wash it even knowing it will probably get dirty again the next day. The most susceptible areas for rust are the rear of the rocker panels where they meet the wheel wells, the flat portion of the rocker panels under the doors, and any bare metal. I garage my vehicle and have not had an issue with rust.
