How do I check my navigation maps version?
Don’t even BOTHER trying to upgrade.
I went through two “genuine” Nissan-provided SD cards after whining to Nissan and my dealer.
Both bricked my nav system.
Both were (as best I can see) unformatted. “Encrypted” or “tied to VIN” are BS - these things were blank/unformatted.

I have the same version on my 2017. We have so much road construction here in Central Florida I am probably going to wait a while to update. The rest of the roads in the area haven't changed too much recently anyway.

Period.
Unreadable by PC or nav system. Dealer no clue.
Same as my 2016 Platinum. I was disappointed (actually MORE than disappointed). By the time I had gone through all the proper steps to buy a later version and have it installed by my dealer, I was out over $200. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I went through an even worse experience six years ago trying to update the nav in my 2009 Premium Maxima.
I love my Maximas. Except in trying to have fairly current nav info. That area of the Maxima is a total sham.
