Coat intakes, valve covers w silicone

Should I put a spray-on coat of silicone on the perfectly clean aluminum LIM, UIM, and VCs (before I reinstall them I mean)?

This would be not so much for looks but for future ease in keeping clean

I have used Armor Wheel protectant on valve covers. I think its called brake dust repellent now days. It lasts for a couple of years..

I was going to use this CRC product in the intake valley, the back of the timing cover and on the head fore, aft, and side (as much as possible):
