Air pressure light flashing when car turns on

The air pressure light ( ! ) flashes when I turn on the car but stats lit when I’m driving. Maybe 1 tire is low but I keep filling them. Is it posible the tpms sensors need new batteries? If so how much does the dealer charge to put new batteries?

If the light stays on steady then the car has lost communications with the sensor's transmitter. Likely cause is a dead battery since your car is 10 years old. I had the same thing going on when I had my tires rotated at Costco. Mentioned the problem and they scanned the sensor and it was working so they cleared the code and the light has not come back in three weeks now. While there I asked how much to change out the sensors and it was $45 a tire, far less than the dealership would charge.

Even $200 seems like a lot for just some tpms sensors ..

My bad, brain in slo mo this morning. The price was $155 for all four tires. Not to bad considering the tires have to be disassembled.

Try disconnecting the battery for a half hour, this might reset the offending sensor.
