Distributor for 94 GXE v6

Distributor for 94 GXE v6

Hi Guys ...
My distributor is making noise...possibly bearings?... Have 160 k miles on speedo...so looking for new distributor.
Who makes a good one... Napa...? Nissan no longer makes one....

some Napa reman stuff is a bit sketch, could get a OEM one from a low mileage junkyard car

Gee where was everyone when I had all my parts. I had about 3 full distributors in good working condition.

Actually, the only spare part I carry in my max is a distributor. The only time I've ever been stranded was because of the distributor and luckily I had a spare.

Do you know how old is your timing belt?

distributor will chatter when the t-belt is loose/old. the chatter sounds like a bad bearing in the distributor.

The outer belts were just changed on the 94 maxima...

outer as in drive belts?
that's different than the timing belt.

he means the cam belt, alternator/power steering belt is different than the cam belt. cam/timing belt is underneath the timing cover
