Can a new key fob be programmed with a duplicated spare key?

 

I checked the FSM to see if I could identify the wires for the key detection switch, but can't find any mention of it. The ignition switch section only addresses the various positions. I checked the Multi-Remote Control System section too, but again found nothing. There must be two wires behind the switch that you could jump together to tell the car the key is inserted.

Here are all the wires shown going to the switch. If you take it apart and find a few more not mentioned below, maybe those are the ones you need.
