370Z Nismo rims on 7th gen Maxima
370Z Nismo rims on 7th gen Maxima
I've seen a couple videos of people putting 370Z Nismo rims on their 7th gen Maxima and it looks amazing. Was wondering how that fitment works in terms of it affecting the turning radius , balding the tires, good for daily use, etc. Dealership told me they dont fit
Nismo rims have been put on plenty a maxima without issue. Just be careful with tire size you select. Who cares about turning radius. Get an alignment for tire wear issues after install. Any car that doesn’t have the oem wheels and tires from factory will feel different but it’s fine for daily driver. Anytime you put bigger rims and thinner tires on a car,you will feel every bump in the road. But beauty is pain.
Annnnnnnnnnd last but not least FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF the dealership!!!!!! The Nissan dealership nearest to me,these guys think they are God’s gift to cars. They know it all and you know absolutely nothing. I called one day to order the bleeder caps for my akebonos. Since I was a returning customer,he entered my name in the system and it automatically brought up my maxima. He asked If the caps were for the maxima. I said yes, then with a damn attitude he says, why you ordering bleeder caps for a car you don’t have? I said,I have the 370z calipers on my maxima. He proceeds to tell me that the akebonos don’t fit the maxima. I’m like, yes they do,I have them on my car right now. He says it’s impossible without heavy modification, pretty much arguing with me lmao. Hung up on him, got them from Z1. That’s just 1 of 3 experiences I’ve had.
Thats just me venting. And if you work at a Nissan dealership, then just know that I’m not saying all Nissan employees are idiots. Just the few I’ve encountered
