correct air box bolts?

I think the last person to work on my car (A/C) didn't put the stock intake air parts back together 100%. Please help me determine what's missing...

I appear to be missing a bolt (or something) that holds the one "downpipe" onto the "muffler" - this causes the assembly of black air tubes to be able to move around more than they should. I've attached pictures with red circles around what I'm missing (what I think I'm missing) as well as a parts link to hopefully point out the missing piece.

Thanks -

Brian in Houston

If you don't mind hardware store parts, a fender washer and m6x1.0 bolt about 20 mm long should do the trick.

You are missing a rubber insulator with metal insert is you want it to be original.

And the bolt is installed from the bottom, is that correct?

Looks like one of the ears on mine has also been helpfully broken off.

Maybe I need new parts...

Yes it bolts from the bottom. If you went original the bolt would need to be longer than what I said above BTW.

I could have gone to a junkyard, but inistead I bought JSutters’ parts. My original on the left (with air tube still installed) and his on the right. There is also a rubber sleeve that fits over a rubber pin on the back side - make sure you either get it or swap it.
