Seal? Outputshaft $eal??
Got my 1st cv axle boot tear n grease spraying all over my oil filter, pulleys, low pressure hose etc. I dont wanna just replace with split boot kit. But i gotta do something for now any recommendations?

 

Replacing the outputshaft seal on my passenger side cv axle and this spring came loose after popping out old seal! Man i cant just replace with new seal without knowing squat about this spring. Anyone tell me who what where whe why this happens??? I went to replace my brake rotors and calipers when i noticed the cv boot was cracked open n spraying grease all over. I got the car jacked up old axle out and popped the old seal off her skirt but a button popped on er blouse (spring) what can i do ??
