Torn Boot (Axle)
Torn Boot (Axle)
I'm going to have to get a rebuilt axle and boot for my 05 Maxima...should I do both sides or can I get away with just the side that needs replacement/repair?

Thanks for the advice guys....may as well do both sides then.
Ok so I saw my mechanic and he said if the axles are not making any noise (which they aren't) he said that I should just change the inner CV joint boot which they would sell me at a discount. It only costs $50 for a full assembly. The labour is about 1.5 hours at $65/hr so $150 should take care of everything. Phew...glad it's just that.
Thanks to everyone that helped out.
Everything got fixed and the axle was checked....super ok and happy now again!
Thanks to everyone that chimed in to help!
