You might consider a solar charger. Use the sun to charge the battery. The charger plugs into the cigarette lighter.

You would need to confirm that the lighter is active while the car is parked. Or rig it so that it is active. That way the cigarette lighter port can send power from the solar panel to the battery.

I'd look this up on you tube.

I imagine that solar battery chargers are available on Amazon or ebay.

Disconnect the battery or drive it more often.

[QUOTE=max ride 41;9214367]how long can it sit with the battery disconnected after i fully charge it? it's winter, so i expect to have it sitting for awhile until i get the fuel pump and evap sensor replaced.

I would add Stable to the gas, then I would disconnect the battery and bring it inside my home to keep it from freezing.

The car can sit until you feel like fixing it.
