Cheap 5th gen Door Lock Actuators Installed
The 5th gen door lock actuators can be installed with minimal modification. All you need to do is swap one little actuator arm over from your old unit.

Schmellyfart, thanks for posting. I was wondering if these would work, because they are significantly cheaper than our OEM units. I went with the universal set for now, all good so far, and did not require any modification of the factory rods.. Good to know that I have a factory option now should the universals fail. At $13 for the set of four, I had concerns about their longevity. Will keep an eye on them and will keep this post in mind. Thank you!
My mistake, I totally missed that when I had read through your thread a while back. Its still a good find at 1/4 the cost of a full set of 5th gen units.
It's just too much weight for me to add to my car
