8th Gen Manual Swap

Hi Guys, first post here...I own a 2016 Maxima SR...Has anyone done a manual swap yet on an 8th Gen Maxima? Is it even possible yet?
I have seen the examples of 7th gen manual swap's from Admin performance and Nisformance and I'm looking into the idea of doing that for my car eventually when the miles get high and I purchase another daily driver, I would just want to use this as my fun weekend car w/ the manual swap. I have contacted both of them and just have not heard back from them yet so I figured I would reach out and see if anyone knew anything about it 😄. I wonder what kinds of complications they would be with the current generation versus the last and doing the swap.
I know it's a super complicated and expensive process but I think it would be worth at least pursuing if it is possible.

What do you think your max budget might be for this swap (like how much $$ are you willing to throw at it, considering you start stacking away some bread right now.

I'd probably be willing to throw anywhere from $10,000-$25,000 at it 😆.

Nisformance has a quote on their site. It starts at $9500. It’s possible but probably comes with tons of headaches. Good luck.

7th Gen is listed, not 8th Gen. No Uprev for 8th Gen. listed either.

I figured you just combined Suzanne Somers/Thunderbird/American Graffiti with Christie Brinkley/Ferrari 308/Vacation.

This is simply false...uprev does have software for the 8th Gen Maxima because Patterson's Performance contacted them directly on my behalf directly by phone and was personally given confirmation they have the software for 8th gen ecu

OK, I stand corrected. When are you going to start this project?

Have you had any luck with the supercharger? I know the CVT is only good for about 300whp from what I've read, is a trans swap required for forced induction? Anyone else have thoughts for N/A power gains, currently running Stillen cat back, K&N CAI, Stage 3 Rocketchip. I can't even seem to find "designed-for" injectors or performance fuel pumps.

Oh yeah!!! Now this is worth talking about. LOL compared to the OP's pipe dream of a manual swap.

Why you would want to make this swap is beyond me, you have a nice, well engineered sedan with a very efficient drivetrain that provides good power and remarkable fuel mileage. I owned a number of manual trans Maximas going back to 1990, and they were great cars, even with far less HP and tech. Check this article:

https://jalopnik.com/here-are-five-r...axi-1691274010

For your projected budget of 10- 25K you could pick up a fifth gen, manual box Maxima, with the VQ35DE lump, supercharge it, and blow the balance on something really nice, like breast implants for the missus- and keep your '16 as your daily driver and have the modded fifth gen as your "toy"
