Headlight Differences

I have a 2017 and I'm considering a 2020. My concern is how well the 2020 heading output is vs my 2017. Also, the fog lights, I have the diode dynamics bulbs and since there are 2 in each housing, they are extremely bright with lots of usable light on edge of road.

Very pleased with my 2019 LEDs over the 2016 I traded in. That said, I hear the Diode Dynamics are top-notch. You should go to a dealer and do a side by side comparison using a garage door as the backdrop preferably at night.

Or if you truly are into wanting to know what the light output is for either car... rent a light meter and do a comparison. You’ll get a real answer for sure that way.

I like your suggestion >>>though brightness is just part of the equation. Evaluating the cutoff lines as well as how far the light is focused helps "real world" what you can see.

Very true my friend. Can’t tell you how many videos I’ve watched on YouTube about HID’s vs LED’s and all that good stuff. Diode Dynamics is pretty good at what they do. They also have a channel on YouTube and their customer service in answering questions is on point.
