Alternative to Stillen Front Lip?

Anyone have any viable alternatives to the Stillen front lip? $320 seems insanely over prices for a piece of molded plastic.

A lot of dough for something that will tear off on your 1st encounter with a curb to driveway transition.

I've had plenty of lips on the front of lowered cars. Secure them properly, and be careful... not saying they can't come off sometimes, but one can mitigate most chances.

It's not really plastic, it's made of polyurethane. This means it's flexible, and if painted correctly with the right flex additives, the paint won't chip off. Unlike cheap plastic lips, this lip will flex and endure normal street driving and not just simply shatter into pieces.
Stillen may be a bit pricey, but their stuff actually fits very well right out of the box.

Agrreed. When I had my max I put the ikon lip on because it looked exactly the same at 1/3 the price. I got it to fit okay but it took a lot of work. Regretted not getting the Stillen one. 2 years never came lose though

Polyurethane is much better, yes and that's my mistake for saying plastic... but $320 for a front lip that doesn't actually do anything other than provide a visual is overpriced no matter how you spin it. The fact that the rear diffuser, which is more surface area overall, is less goes to show you that they are banking on the fact that more people will want a front lip.

I fully get the need to pay for good material, fitment, ect... but there are polyurethane front lips out there for other vehicles that provide the exact same features as this one for a fraction of a cost. My Genesis Coupe had a great fitting polyurethane lip that only cost $60.

I don't understand your question? Are you asking what I am talking about?

A couple of Maxima accounts that I follow on social media have front splitters from http://gorillasplitters.com/

They don't list the prices online, but it's another option that isn't STILLEN.

I have this splitter getting painted and installed tomorrow. It is PU and the painter said it is going to paint up and fit perfectly.
