How do i change crankshaft sensor. 2010 maxima. I am getring code p0725

I can't see how the crankshaft sensor relates to this code, which refers to a break in engine speed signal between the ECM and the TCM. The worst case scenario is to change the TCM.

CKP is a perfectly reasonable cause, and in my opinion, probable.

P0335 in the engine control section of my 2014 FSM correlates to your P0725, despite not being directly listed in my FSM. There is another list of relative, yet less common fault codes that DennisMik, or some other member posted a while ago but I couldn't find the file to reference. P0335 will have your CKP work flow. Or you could just skip the hard stuff, replace the CKP and clear the code. It's on the front of the engine, near the bottom, where the tranny mates to the block. Jack the car up, remove the splash guards and swap it out.

Yes, I think you're right having gone through the TSB mentioned in the link.

The code has disappeared for now but I will still try to change it. I did see that website so that is why i wanted to Change the crankshaft sensor. Thanks
