Rattle on bumps coming from the rear

I have a 2017 Maxima with only 16K miles. I hear the rattling sound from rear when the car goes over a bump. Theres nothing in the boot of the car except the spare.
Anyone else experienced the same problem. If yes, any solution for the same.

Take it to your dealer. There are several service bulletins out. Could be a lot of things. Mine 19 makes a "crack" sound from the rear but only if it is a harsh bump. Doesn't happen all the time though. I may let the next owner chase that one.

I have taken the appointment on coming Saturday. The manufacturer's warranty is expiring in Dec'20. So do not want to take any chance.

So the authorized centre informed it might be coming from suspension.
they will be replacing rear Shock Absorber, Bush and Mounting under warranty .
Unfortunately they do not have some part coz of logistics issues due to Covid.
once the part is available they will call me.
let's see how it ends up.

Thanks for the follow-up. What I wonder is how they know which shock is bad and why they would not just replace them as a pair. Good thing is that you are on record if the other one goes south too.

Mine was more like a clunking sound and dealership replaced both of the rear shock absorbers, It appeared to fixed the problem so far.

I had the same problem, just take it to the dealer before the warranty expires. They changed my shock absorbers and the noise went away...

Good story and report. You have motivated me to take mine in for the noise I experience, especially in wintry weather.
