Temperature reading up and down

Has anybody have issues with the car temperature fluctuating up and down when on idle. Temperature gauge goes a little above the halfway mark and stays there until i start driving again.

I've never had that issue, but if it isn't going all the way up and over heat I wouldn't worry about it. Check your coolant levels, look around for any leaks and just keep an eye on things. I think it's fine.

Could be the elecric fans, stuck thermostat, radiator leak, or water pump. I am leaning toward fans. Do you know when the last coolant service was performed? Could be you didnt fill it completely so with engine cold, check the level by removing the radiator cap and look there instead of reservoir.

I had the Radiator, Thermostat, upper and lower hoses replaced March of last year. I check the coolant level every other week and it’s all good, even the reservoir.

It should not fluctuate. You have an issue somewhere.
