Swapping 2015 Altima engine for 2005 Nissan Maxima

I have a 2005 Nissan Maxima that I bought brand new in 2005. I maintained the car to the best of my knowledge, only used Mobile 1 fully synthetic engine oil for the engine and mid-grade gas. The car has been acting up lately, stalling and sometimes shutting off when I slow down in traffic. Sometimes the gear won't shift down from 5 or go into reverse; these seem to go away if I shut the car off and turn it on again. I have replaced the Camshaft/Crankshaft sensors with off-market brands, and electrical coils, etc. The latest error codes are 0407 and 0420, it seems to be one problem or another now. With that being said, I am thinking of swapping my Nissan Maxima V6 3.5L engine out with a 2015 Altima V6 3.5L engine. I've googled to see if this is compatible without luck. I know there are very smart people here, is it ok to swap my Nissan 2005 engine with a 2015 Altima? What other car models and years are compatible with 2005 Maxima?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

That would cost more money/time than it is worth. There is no other car that is compatible from just a pure engine-drop-in perspective. You would being doing modifications ($$$) just to get it to work.

I have a 2007 and it has a CVT, so you are pretty much stuck with what you got (2004-2006 models) from an easy engine swap perspective. You putting in anything newer than a 2004-2006 engine is just gonna cost you. Probably time for you to move on to a "new-to-you" ride if you are looking for something more reliable than what you got.
