My 2012 MAxima with 82,000 has a starting problem after I drive it over 45 min, to an hour. The problem is it will start then stall but if I give it some time to "cool" it starts without a problem, if I drove it for 15-20 minutes this doesn't happen at all
The last time this happened when it was about to stall I step on the gas peddle to keep it running and it works fine.
Any Ideas?

 

First thing that comes to mind is bad gas...maybe with too much ethanol boiling. That would explain the hot start issue. Go to a station that has ethanol free gas and fill up there...at least mid range if not premium.

 

Is your check engine light on? I would scan for codes to see if any come up.
