USB 2 is fine but I cannot get USB 1 to establish a connection to my phone. Used multiple wires and different devices - it is definitely the port. Any suggestions to get it working again without bringing it to the dealer? Without usb 1 I also lose Apple CarPlay which I use for all my navigation without touching my phone. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

 

See if you can get some contact cleaner shot down inside the orifice. Hold a rag around there so you don't get splash. Hope this works.
