Vacuum hose sizes
Vacuum hose sizes
I am currently putting engine back to together on 2010 Maxima but I don’t want to use the existing vacuum lines. I would prefer to use the cloth braided vacuum lines that I use on European cars problem is I don’t know the size of the vacuum line example will be the lines that connect by the fuel rail I know it’s metric probably 3.5mm but not positive. Does anybody know the correct size?

Here are two ways I would figure this out
1. Take a small piece to the auto parts store and have them measure it,
2. Find a twist drill bit and fit the shank into the hose. It should go in without any slop and not to snug. The drill bit is the size.

I just threw out all my old packaging when I was doing my garage spring cleaning but I replaced them all last summer or I would be able to take a look.
Close. I just checked
