Size of fuel hose

What size is our fuel line hose, the one that returns to the tank. 3/8 or 1/4? Making sure I get the right size barbed nipple....

More specifically, I can use a -4AN to 1/4 barbed nipple or a -6AN to 3/8 barbed nipple

Look here at the super stock hose ends. The first two applications.

5/16 for rubber...if you're doing AN then 6AN is your number.

The AN does not matter so much, it is the nipple size.

The set up would be one of these two

SS line===Female 6AN===Male 6AN to Male 4AN Adapter===Female 4AN to 1/4 Barbed Nipple.

SS line===Female 6AN===Male 6AN to Male 6AN Adapter===Female 6AN to 3/8 Barbed Nipple

I guess I will go with what sx7r said, the 3/8 nipple.

Well, I got the 6AN to 3/8 nipple and I don't think that is going to work and the 1/4 is too small. Can't find a 6AN to 5/16 nipple. Maybe I will have to do a 6AN to X pipe thread to 5/16 nipple. Just wasted like $15 on fittings

I don't think earl's or aeroquip make a 5/16 barbed hose end. So I will just use my 3/8 on a 3/8 hose then find a two sided barbed hose at the hardware store with one end 3/8 and the other 5/16. That way I can put these expensive earl's fittings to use.

It is going down from March 14-20. Already relocated my battery. Installing the fuel pressure gauge and fuel pump tomorrow probably. Clutch is going in Sunday. Also am doing ES motor mounts during the install as well.

Yhea, I am a little excited....but also nevrous that something major is going to go wrong.

I kinda planned to document the whole thing with pics. Might set up a special web page for it or something.
