wussup everybody..im new here.. from wi and i gotta 90 max se with a few mods.
my question....does anyone know why my muffler sounds like s**t???
sounds like a softer version of a glass pak on a muscle car. i gotta tenzo r universal muffler but it doesnt sound as smooth and throaty as the other mufflers.

 

First of all, Welcome to the Forum. To answer your question, you either have a problem with your exhaust (such as a leak somewhere or maybe the muffler wasn't installed correctly) or your Tenzo-R muffler is supposed to sound like that which is possible. One of the guys in my car club has a Tenzo-R muffler and it sounds exactly how you described it. Personally, I do not like Tenzo-R or Apexi mufflers. If I were you, I would have bought a GReddy or WSP muffler or some other reputable brand.

thanks for the advice. Im thinking it might have something to do with the exhaust itself because even without the muffler...it has that rattling noise like it is not smooth...but im not sure.

...maybe soon i will have some pix of my car up soon.
as soon as i can slap my rims back on and paint my fender.

funny...b/c i got everything new from the y pipe back??? about 3 months ago before i started modding my max
man...im so lost now.
