Air Bag Control Module

I have sent out my Airbag Control module (the one under the center console) to a third party for a "reset". I am trying to get the airbag light to stop flashing. Long story but I have not been successful on repairing this. Error code is B1015. Flashes 1 +7 blinks.

My question is would it be safe to drive the car without the module installed? I plan on pulling out the Airbag fuse before reconnecting the battery and reinstalling the center console.

Thanks.

well, define"safe." Safer than my old 67 chevy with no seat belts, certainly. Would I put a child or a loved one in the car, no. Would I drive it, sure. But then again, i would prefer not to.

"Safe" as in not have the airbags deploy accidently or cause other damage to the car. I would only be driving like this for a few days until I get the module back in the car.

Thanks

I was able to remove the module and drive the car with it out. I also removed the airbag fuse.
When I got the module back, it fixed my airbag issue and now the light no longer blinks. The code I was getting was B1015. I was seeing 1 short + 8 long blinks of the airbag light.

The service that I used was "Safety Restore". I was a little skeptical whether or not this would fix my issue since my car had not been in a crash, but it worked. What happened was the battery died and after I jumped off the car, the air bag light started flashing..
