Hi,

I have a 01 Nissan Maxima with 241,000 miles that is in good condition and the motor is in great shape. It have a small rear main seal leak and i am planning on getting it fixed real soon. I am wondering with this many miles on the car is it safe to take it on a 1,900 road trip. The car is fun to drive and it drive smooth.

Do any one knows is it safe to drive on a long road trip?

 

I'm usually on the 4th generation part. They have tge same engine as your car.

my car has 220,000 miles. I take it on long drives all tge time.

My car has been maintained well.

other members drive well maintained cars with 400k on them.

its all about maintenance. If yours has been maintained its safe to drive. If the car has been neglected it might have issues.
