.01 sec, how much of a car lenght does it represent?
I have a question regarding .01 of a sec, when you raced someone up to 0-60 and lets say whoever gets beat by .01 of a sec to sixty first, what is that equals to in terms of car length?
Thanks
Thanks

Well do the math... 60mph and .01 sec:
3600 sec (1 hour) - 60 miles
.01 sec - ? miles
That is .000167 miles
A carlength on average is 4 meters which is .0025 miles
So basically at 60mph, .01 sec is pretty much neck and neck. But if you really think about it... .01 sec is so small that even at 300 mph it is pretty much negligible.
