Strange noise at lower speeds when steering is almost full lock to the right

My 2017 Max SL is approaching 30000km, and I noticed a strange sound when I'm driving slowly and the steering wheel is turned mostly to the right. Not full lock but enough say to turn into my driveway. I want to say it sounds like a grinding noise but I don't know if that's the best word. It's definitely not a ticking or clicking noise. Or a bumping sound. I had the summer tyres put on a couple of weeks ago but I don't know if the sound was there before that. So it may or may not be new since then. Any ideas?

Having the same issue with my 2016. I had my boots checked and I have no cracks or splits. So I plan on having someone take a deep dive into why soon.

I had a very similar experience on my ‘16 SL at 90k miles when I bought it. Replacing front pads and rotors and cleaning calipers and backing shield resolved my problem.
