AVS Low profile window visor/rain guard

Has anyone installed the AVS Low Profile gutters? I got some for christmas. The instructions say that they tape onto the rubber seal around the window. That would put it pretty low for me, anyone have any luck taping it to the door frame itself? It looks like it would work and thats how installed them on my other cars (although those weren't the low profile series) Anyone have pics to share?

I personally don't have a set on my 2010 Maxima, but my co-worker has them on his and he has them mounted on the chrome strip on the outside of the window frame. The ones on the rear door extend past the rear glass though.

I have a set of rain guards. I installed then on the window frame with the double sides tape
provided as well with the clips that the guards
have. Fairly simple.

Nice looks like a fellow Storm Blue Maxima, don't see those often.

So when you crack the windows open do the guards help a lot with the wind noise?

Lo…yes. They also seem to put some downforce on the front of the car. Feels really solid especially in sport mode. But it really helps with the rain.

"Down force on the front of the car"? How would that work?

I got them on. Also tinted the turn signals on the mirrors, plastidipped the badges, wrapped that giant Nissan badge on the grill (not sure i like it). I have some gloss black wrap to deal with the chrome on the back and the chrome trim on the sides. Matte black wrap coming so i can wrap the chrome on the front. Still need to take it in for window tinting. I'll probably redo the badges and turn signals, it was cold out and they don't look great when viewed close up.

What about the front badge? Its just a big black circle. Looks odd to me. I am hoping that once i wrap that chrome on the front end it will look better.
