2016 Maxima stop accelerating but still running

There were no warning lights, no dash lights. I stopped at a stop sign & made a right turn and nothing else. The car just would not accelerate. Luckily I was to houses from mine so I coast on to front of driveway. I stopped & turned car off then restarted and done same thing. Car would only move 2 miles on speedometer. I sat for 3 min then all of sudden I felt the power kick back in so I pulled on in driveway. Few hours later I went to work about 8 miles away and car done fine until I pulled on job lot & it did it again. It stopped accelerating & only moving 2miles again. I pulled on around the parking lot and attempted to back into space & the whole car shut down in middle of parking lot. I finally got someone to give me a jump and it cranked with no problem. 6 hours later I got off work cranked it up & did fine & no issues all the way home but I’m so afraid to drive to work this morning at 5am.

Have a competent repair shop or dealer diagnose and repair your car.
