Hit Something On The Road

I hit something guys on the way to work today. I didnt know it at first, till I got out of the car and spell something funny, it was antifreeze....later I went out to my car and noticed antifreeze everywhere....I didnt get in warning lights over heating....So I added somewater, and hope I will make it home on the 26 mile return trip, I hit the dealership in the morning, wish me luck!

What was it that you spelled funny to make you think you had a problem...

Regardless, check you hoses first for loose conections/holes, inspect the radiator for leaks next. Good Luck...

No chernmax, Im always on point....well the dealer confirmed it was a rock and it costed me 870.00 to replace with a factory unit, I paid him on the spot no questions asked...Later once I got home I call the insurance people just to find out what they could do USAA...well they issued me a check on the spot for about 600.00, I should have the money in my USAA bank account within 24hrs...so the long and short I am only out of 300.00: had the oil changed and inspection completed also... This is what happens when you have a rock at 70mph

USAA is a great insurance company, I have been with them off and on for 18 years. Glad it got fixed...

Great company. They should take care of you. I hope the rates don't go up. I would hope not it's not like you hit somebodys car. Who can dodge a rock on the highway they are all over the place.

I don't think so...it seems like it would qualify as a No-Fault situation on the driver's part.
