I just picked up some 17 inch rims, with 225/60/17 tires. I'm hoping those will work with no issues anybody run those or know if that should be fine?

My guess is that they will likely not clear the brakes. Personally not a big fan of wheels are:

A. Universal
B. Smaller than the factory

But if you like them, that's all that that matters. Also beware that your TPMS -low air light will be on unless you have TPMS installed into these wheels which will probably cost more than the wheels are worth.
