how rare you think this SE is?

I found a 98 5 spd SE tonight with every option known to Maxima. It's Sterling Gray. Since only 10% of all Maximas are sticks and most SEs are either white or black and most don't contain every option...I bet this is a pretty good buy for $15,000 huh?

depending on milage and region, knock off at least $2000. I dont see fog lights, alarm system, keyless entry system, side air bags, floor mats, and alloy wheels. The rarest option may be a cigarette lighter.

Dude, only a few of those things you listed are actually optional. Most of them are standard equipment on all Maximas, on almost all cars in fact.

If you've got SE, you've got white gauge, alloy rims and foglights. But, do you have heated mirrors, homelink transmitter, alarm (i assume you do, cause of remote trunk pop). Side impact airbags are only avail in 99.

Or the optional dealer accesories, mudflaps, floor mats, sunroof deflector, wood dash, gold emblums.

To answer your question on how rare it is, I have the same car basically, minus some of the dealer acc. such as sunroof deflect, wood and gold emblums.

Just throwing in my 2 cents. I have a 98 SE and have both driver and passenger side impact airbags. Other then that I have nothing to say I guess. Nice car though even if its not a 'rare' SE.

The CD is standard on the SE. The only stereo option is the Bose, that every reasonable person throws in the trash within 2 weeks. And the SE limited has standard mud-flaps and floor mats. I think the leather interior max uses about 2 lbs of leather. The rest is vinyl.

I have side impact airbags on my '98. They are mounted in the seats, came with the 'Cold Weather Package' or whatever they call it (heated mirrors, seats). I have every option that i know of except the Gold emblems, I don't think they would look so good on my Sterling Mist (silver).

Sounds like a nice ride. I have the same in my 97 SE and love it. Get them down a few more bucks (depending on mileage). Run the car/options on kelly blue book or other to see what is "fair" for the car. The Bose system is a good system too. If you are into wicked high end stereo stuff (I am not) then maybe look into an upgrade. For that year car, it was a great option to have. I am happy with the Bose system. If you like 5-spd then definitely hold out for that. That is my favorite part. Peace: e3 - spamman

i test drove the car tonight...get this- it's canadian. i thought i was going 100 mph and i was like "damn this car is fast!" but it was kmh. also the climate control has a celsius reading. very weird. oh and the air intake was something else. it was strange. the carfax report ONLY shows records from the US, not ones from canada. that makes me uneasy. it ran great but who knows what could've happened to it across the border.

ps. i was pacin an integ goin about 65 in 4th and he got mad and sped up so i downshifted into third and yeah...later riceboy.

ps. i never knew about the friggin torque steer on these things.
