a lot of other people on the forum seem to like this place's stuff
http://suvlights.tripod.com/suvlightscom/id11.html
I haven't bought anything from them yet, but am considering it. If it's just your light that's burnt, this might work, but if your old harness is melted, you may need something else as these harnesses are actually just plug in relays that still require your old harness connections to turn on the boosted relay.

good luck, hope it helps.

in that case you can either get a stock replacement harness. (don't know where you might get that besides nissan, and if you do get it, it will probably burn again)

or you may want to still get that wiring harness relay, and just splice the wires leading to your old (burnt) socket onto the new relay. it shouldn't be very hard, just need to figure out which wire corresponds to each peg on both your stock socket and the relays plug. and that way, it would be impossible to fry your wires again.

let me know if you need further explaination, but it should be pretty straighforward.

that's pretty much my direction. dealer's supplier is backordered on the upgrade harness till march, but he said he's got someone who has a shop that will upgrade the wiring harness for $100.

Upgrade harnesses from APC are around 40 to 50 bucks. your dealer is ripping you off. call APC direct and order it. Never go though a middle man. they will rape you on prices. I hope you don't like takin it.

i'll give it a try and order from then... would you happen to know a number or web address? i get links to people who sell apc, but not the official web page. i'll keep searching though.

I got my upgrade wire harness from suvlight.com and installed it yesterday. Dont know why when i turn my headlight on the high beam light signal on my gauge is on. And when i high beam it my whole headlight went dim and then sometime it just went off. and then i have to turn my headlight off and then back on just to get it back on. And i change the stock harness too seeing that it was melted.. did i connect the wires wrongs or sumthing??

they're quality may be questionable, but they're pretty much the only one's remotely readily available. and about your symptons w/ the high beam light going on... it's exactly what happen to me just before mine cooked.
