Has anyone replaced their sunroof gasket?

After all these years, my sunroof gasket 913469N02A is no longer sealing correctly and the wind noise and water blowing in is not a pleasant experience. Shops around me (and indeed, my searches on-line) say the seal is no longer made and all Nissan Dealers show 0 balance. If you place the order online, a few days later you will get notified that this is out of stock and not orderable.

I would prefer to replace the seal, but as that no longer seems like an option, has anyone tried anything else? The specialist put some painters tape along the edge of the front sunroof and while that DOES work, it looks terrible. I may have to resort to buckets or marine type of caulk (I have never used the sunroof but for the first month after getting the car so I really don't care if I never get to use it again, but once more, I really don't like resorting to "needs must" solutions and prefer to do things right if possible. I only need another 8K miles to get to half a million and would prefer to get there "dry!"

If anyone has a good source of supply or has sealed up their entire sunroof, I would like to know.

Thanks

Lt

FWIW that part is listed here as available, and nothing indicates that it's out of stock. Stand by for sticker shock though.
Good luck.

Thank you Richard.
They did NOT have any in stock but they did call and looked in a "super secret proprietary database" and saw a few dealers who showed some on the shelf and was going to reach out and see if he could get his hands on them. Otherwise, it will go back order and possibly cancelled after 30 days. But, thinking positively that I can get rid of the painters tape before Oct.
