8 miles from home and on the Beltway, (don’t YOU dArE say it my fellas)….am calling a Uber to pick her up, on the beltway……but little did I know uber send driver to a safe location.

she is crisp in her suite, am semi causal (imagine us both like…..don’t dare say it)…. Walking on the beltway in rush hour traffic. Uber cancelled 3 times, the last one waited 10 minutes, I tipped him a extra $10.

rewund: about 2mph in left of 3 lanes, here comes smoke from the engine, traffic moving up, No Power….. the. The dash started to get dark… car edging now across 3 lanes to the shoulder.
Am in protection mode … I will be Superman if this car burst out in flames. 10 seconds seemed like 2 hours n til the came to rest safe on Shoulder.
with 30 minutes and 8 miles I must get wife to work. Alas, we made it to a Uber, my turn to get car towed.

short story, insurance covered, but ETA is 2 hours
one tow pulled up, $200 to go 8 miles; another pulled up $125….. deal!!!!

Mother literally kissed the ‘11 goodbye (no joke) she’s off to a foundation.

No biggie, the wife has 3 choices, the 2017 platinum ready for the road
